Firefox introduces upgraded version of Browser, this is named as Firefox 3.5. Firefox is one of the best browser used by internet users, it is also considered as the fastest browser among other type of browsers. The speed is also upgraded in this version. In this version they provided Inprivate and Private browsing options are given. Till now approximately 8 lakhs internet users use Firefox beta version.

This version is considered as user friendly so it is estimated that more internet users will prefer this browser. The security is increased in this browser, using the Inprivate option the web histories are not stored; the private details which we enter in the websites are not shared to others.

This version has gio locating option, by this option the browser can know from which area the user is accessing internet and it can get the best access according to that.

In the Firefox 3.0 the browser will give an option to restore all the previously used web pages when we open the browser after it got crashed, but in this Firefox 3.5 the user can select the web pages which are to be restored after crashing.

The speed of this browser is superb compared to the Firefox 3.0. When the users compared the speed, it is found that this version 3.5 is twice speeder than the older version.

Types of Computers

In this week we can see about types of computers. Friends who know this please ignore this, those who dont know check out it will be very much helpful.
There are 10 types of Computers.

Personal computer:

Computers which are used by a single person at one time is called personal computer, many applications can run in a single time. Some of them say computers which have Windows, Linux are the only personal computers. Mac also comes under personal computer.

Desktop computers:

Those computers which cant be used while travelling. Which is used by keeping under a stiff flat surface for support is called desktop computers. We can store vast number of information. This is the best performance computers.

Laptop:

Other name for Laptop is Note Book computers. They look slim and weight less. We can carry this in a bag with us. Has good storage capacity. This has good memory storage, but not as good as Desktop computers. They work through power stored in battery.

PDA (Personal Digital Assistant):

In this type of computer instead of hard disk they have flash drives. There will be no keyboard; this is based on touch screen technology. This will be very small as a small size novel, weight is also less. There are PDAs which are tied in hand as a wrist watch, those are called handheld computers.

Work Station:

This is similar to desk top computers; the performance will be more than the Desktop computers. 3D graphic technology is the best feature in this type of computers. The memory storage is more compared to Desktop computers. This is used mainly for gaming purpose.

Server:

Server is a computer through which we can connect many client computers. There will be network connection exist between the server and the client computers. Server computer will store all the information’s about the client computer and its working. This will have vast storage capabilities, with good performance.

Mainframe:

Mainframe computers are those which deal with enormous number of transactions between the computers. Even though this computer needs lot of space the working of this is a must for big organizations. In a single time this can work with more than a lakh of transactions. Computers that use Enterprise server is called as Mainframe.

Mini Computer:

The computers with work between personal computer and mainframe computers are named as mini computers. This was also called as Mid Range Servers. Recently these computers are not used by many organizations.

Super Computer:

Gray super is the company which builds these super computers and provides to the customers who needs it. The cost of these super computers is high. Mainly used in war field and scientific researches. These computers will have performance of many computers at the same time. The accuracy will be high as this are used in scientific research areas.

Wearable Computer:

These are the most recent invention of computers, these types of computers are very small and tiny, we can wear this in glasses and work, this can support applications like Email, database, multimedia, calendar, scheduler, Etc.

This week computer knowledge- short cut keys

HI friends I have started this topic to share my knowledge about computers. This will be written every week Wednesday. Hope this will help you a lot.

Short cut keys in computer:

Let me give some important short cut keys used to fasten your computer working.

Win - to open the start menu.

Win + R – to open the Run bar.

Win + M – to minimize all the applications which are open.

Win + Shift + M – to reopen the applications which are minimized.

Win + L – to lock the windows XP.

Win + E – to open My Computer.

Win + F – to find some word in a page.

Win + U – to open the utility manager window.

Win + D – to view the desktop.

Win + F1 – to get the Help.

Win + Pause – to get the system properties dialog box.

Win + Tab – to choose applications which are in task bar.

Alt + tab – to choose the applications which are minimized in task bar.

Alt + Spacebar – to open the system menu in active window.

Alt + Spacebar + N – to minimize the window which is open.

Alt + Spacebar + R – to open an application which is in the in the screen.

Wimbledon 2009 was won by Roger Federer. The final was held between Andy Roddick and Federer. This win earned Federer 15 Grand Slam titles and World No.1 spot again. Last world No.1 was Nadal. Due to his injurey he was unable to defend his title this time. The match between Roddick and Federer took 4 and half hours to decide the winner. There may be defeat for Roddick, but the game he played was amazing. This earned him many fans all over the world.

Wil India win the ODI series against West Indies

India won the 3rd one day against West Indies. This win has made India to take a lead against the home team. India leads the series 2-1. Still one match left Dhoni's man has to keep the momentum going as the dangerous West Indies will fight for leveling the series.
In this series India's best performers Sachin, Sehwag, Raina, and Khan are staying out for rest. Delhi daredevil’s batsman Karthik got a chance to open the innings after a long time. Rohit Sharma's batting is a great concern as he is not performing well. Dhoni's innings in 3rd ODI increased the confident for team India and Indian fans.

The worry for Indian will be the Bowling line up where they are not performing upto the mark. Gayle and Morton are taking up the week bowling line up.

Harbhajan and RP Singh should take up the responsible to destroy the performing Indies batting.
