Australia Vs New Zealand 3rd ODI

Will Australia win the 3rd match against New Zealand?


New Zealand tours Australia for 5 match ODI series, this month February. New Zealand leads the series 2-0, still 3 matches to go. Australia has to win this 3rd match, if they have to stay alive in the series, it is know that they are not performing well in the recent past, due to injuries and some of the best players have retired.

This 3rd match, New Zealand won the toss and elected to field hoping to restrict Australia to a low total. The new openers who played last two match where rested and two middle order batsmen Brad Haddin and Michel Clark opened the innings. Ausis proved their strengths in batting after a long gap. Haddin scoring a well needed century and Clark scored a Half Century gave a good start, the 135 runs stand was broken by Grant Elliott but Michel Hussy took the responsibility and finished the innings with a class.
Australia scored 301/9 in 50 over. Top scorers: Brad Haddin- 116, Michel Clark- 64, Michel Hussy- 51. New Zealand bowler Lain OBrien took 3 wickets and Kyle Mills took 2 wickets.
New Zealand needs only one match to win this series. They will be hoping to wrap up the series as soon as possible. It is known that Australia will not let the series go to others so easily.
